TextFX – 24 Animated Titles for DaVinci Resolve

You know the problem. You finish the edit, then spend another forty minutes keyframing text that still looks like everyone else’s. Or you buy a caption pack and every preset turns out to be the same font at a different speed.

TextFX is 24 titles that actually look different from each other. Five typefaces, a proper colour system, and real spring physics you can dial in. Drop one on the timeline, type your text, done.

What makes it different (the three real differentiators)

1. Twenty-four styles that do not look like each other. Most packs ship one typeface at twenty speeds. TextFX uses five: a display grotesque, a workhorse sans, a tall condensed, an editorial serif and a monospace. Each style has its own weight, colour and letter spacing. Put them side by side and you can tell them apart instantly.

2. Real spring physics, not a bounce preset. The elastic styles use an actual damped-spring calculation with Bounce and Damping sliders. Turn the bounce up for playful, damping up for tight and controlled. No other pack in this price range exposes this.

3. Everything is in the Inspector. Text, font, weight, size, colour, tracking, line spacing, animation speed, shadow, glow, and a signature control per style. You never open the Fusion page. Nothing is baked in.

Install section

Setup takes about a minute.

1. Install the included fonts (select all, right-click, Install)
2. Copy the titles into your Resolve Titles folder (the exact path is in the guide)
3. Restart Resolve

That is it. The titles appear under Effects > Titles > TextFX.

FAQ

Does this work with the free version of DaVinci Resolve? Yes. Everything here uses standard Fusion nodes available in the free version.

Windows or Mac? Both. The template files are cross-platform.

Do I need to know Fusion? No. That is the entire point. Every control is in the Inspector on the Edit page.

Can I change the fonts and colours? Yes, all of them. The defaults are a starting point, not a lock.

Can I use these in client work? Yes. Use them in any project, commercial or personal. You cannot resell or redistribute the pack itself.

Do the fonts cost extra? No. All five are open-source and included, licensed for commercial use.

Is this a subscription? No. Pay once, keep it.
